SiteswapA simple string of numbers can describe many popular juggling patterns... and as patterns get more complicated, siteswap developes into different forms to cope with these difficulties. First there is Vanilla Siteswap, then Multiplex Sitewap for catching, throwing or holding two balls in one hand at the same time. From there things can get really complicated with Passing Siteswap, Multi Hand Notation, and, for those who want to make really complicated patterns, there is Ben Beever's General Siteswap, which you can in his fantastic book, published online only here at the IJDb! ![]() ![]() Introduction to Siteswaps - A very friendly introduction to the mathematics of juggling.
